Flatbed carriers are the least common shipping method, used to transport a vehicle that either won’t fit or can’t be loaded onto an open carrier.
If your vehicle falls into that category, we’ll happily ship it for you via flatbed—and you can expect the same high level of attention and care we provide for other shipping methods.
Just bear in mind that, because flatbeds are much less fuel-efficient and less common than other methods of auto transport, you may pay more to ship a vehicle this way.
Let us ship your special cases…
Open auto transport carriers can hold up to 10 vehicles, including trucks and vans. But all of these vehicles must be under a certain height. Vehicles on the bottom row of the carrier can’t scrape against the bottom of the vehicles above them, and vehicles on the top row must be able to clear underpasses.
If vehicles do not fit on an open carrier, or if they are too heavy, they’ll need to be shipped via flatbed. Vehicles that usually require flatbed shipping include construction equipment, tow trucks, SUVs, and certain vans and pickup trucks.
…and we’ll ship them specially to your door.
Flatbed auto transport may be uncommon, but we have drivers who are highly specialized in flatbed shipping, and we’ll transport your vehicle or equipment with the highest care and caution—right to your front door.
Your vehicle will be entirely secure throughout its journey, and in the rare event that it sustains any damage, we’ll fully compensate you for the financial loss.
Because it’s a rarer, more expensive shipping method, we recommend speaking directly to one of our agents for an accurate flatbed carrier quote. Before contacting us, be sure to have information ready about the type of vehicle you need to transport and its dimensions. This will help our agents give you the most accurate quote possible.
As always, we strive to provide the best service in the industry, at the most competitive price on the market.
